We pioneered gluten free baking at our bake house in Booysens, Johannesburg (the largest of its kind in the country), and remain dedicated to the creation of an ever-growing number of gluten free products.We bake daily and we make our products slowly and carefully to maximize flavour and texture.
Today Fresh Earth Bake House is the only independent Gluten Free factory in South Africa that is ISO 22000 FSSC compliant and we are a key supplier to South Africa’s biggest retailers of a wide range of gluten free products that include breads, rusks, muffins, granolas, pizza bases, wraps, cookies and more.
Our team of 88 take pride in our ethical values and our philosophy to source and include only the finest, authentic, real food, quality ingredients in everything we make. There is nothing hidden in our products. No fillers, no trans-fats, no gluten, no artificial colours, no preservatives, no artificial sweeteners.

Whether toasted or just as is, this gluten free brown bread is perfect for open sandwiches. Add a handful of baby spinach, sliced cucumber, chopped red onion, micro herbs, Emmental cheese and a dash of pomegranate balsamic reduction and voila! Perfection on a plate.

Banting Bread
If making your own bread is not an option, you can purchase the ready-made Banting Bread. It is gluten and yeast free and meets the requirements for a low-carb diet. There is nothing as tasty as a piece of hot-buttered toast!
