Buckwheat is low in fat and high in carbohydrates. It contains Rutin which forms part of the B Complex Vitamins. As a result of the Rutin content, Buckwheat may be effective in the treatment of High Blood Pressure & hardening of the arteries and has been found helpful in lifting depression.
