It’s the antidote to free radicals and inflammation. With 100% pure astaxanthin, the ultimate antioxidant and natural anti-inflammatory. Anti-X marks the spot.
WHAT'S IN IT?
Astaxanthin
Vitamin A (as beta-carotene)
Vitamin E (as d-alpha tocopherol)
Lutein
FACT: Astaxanthin has almost 550 times more antioxidant activity than vitamin E. It’s also 10 times stronger than other carotenoid antioxidants like beta-carotene.
1. ASTAXANTHIN
What? It’s a natural compound that’s been called the world’s strongest antioxidant.
What else? It’s found naturally in trout, salmon, yeast, shrimp, crayfish, krill, microalgae, crustaceans and the feathers of some birds.
Where’s it from? Our astaxanthin is extracted from Haematococcus pluvialis algae. But not just any algae. We’ve gone straight to the world's premier microalgae cultivator.
How does it help?
ANTI-oxidative damage. Normal metabolism and abnormal triggers like stress, pollution, chemicals and UV light can cause the body to constantly produce free radicals. These destructive oxygen molecules open fire on DNA and cells causing tissue ageing, inflammation and general toxicity. Not good. But astaxanthin is a potent antioxidant that mops up these molecules and prevents damage.
ANTI-inflammation. Astaxanthin is also clinically proven to reduce pain and increase mobility in various condition, including: Rheumatoid arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Tendonitis, Carpal tunnel syndrome
Cardiovascular, immune and neurodegenerative diseases involving inflammation.
PRO-fitness. It’s like a personal trainer in a pill. Astaxanthin can help accelerate muscle recovery and alleviate joint and muscle pain post-exercise. Studies show that it increases strength and endurance by 62% in only six months – they also show a 93% grip strength improvement in people with tennis elbow, or tendonitis.
ANTI-sunburn. A sunscreen from within, its anti-inflammatory effect extends to the inflammation caused by UV light. So it helps protect eyes and skin from sun damage and photo-ageing. Clinical trials say astaxanthin can increase your sun exposure time before burning sets in. Some say it even gives you a tan. But don’t skip the sun cream.
ANTI-neurodegeneration. Unlike most antioxidants, astaxanthin can cross the blood-brain barrier. The result? Less of the oxidative stress that contributes to degenerative conditions like Parkinson's and Alzheimer's Disease. Plus it helps repair stroke damage caused by lack of oxygen.
PRO-vision. Because it crosses the blood-brain barrier astaxanthin also impacts the eyes. It helps improve vision and protect against cataracts and age-related macular degeneration.
PRO-heart health. It helps lower "bad" LDL cholesterol, levels and prevents the heart disease caused by oxidative damage.
FACT: Anti-X puts the “anti” in anti-inflammatory. Clinical trials show that astaxanthin can reduce the levels of the inflammatory marker C-reactive protein by 20% in only eight weeks.
2. VITAMIN A (AS BETA-CAROTENE)
What? Beta-carotene, like all carotenoids, is a brightly coloured antioxidant pigment.
So what? It’s a precursor for vitamin A – a fat-soluble vitamin, that's found in leafy vegetables, eggs, broccoli, and liver.
How does it help?
Vitamin A is an essential nutrient for good eye sight and bone growth.
Too little vitamin A can lead to night-blindness, ocular problems and impaired immunity.
Too much vitamin A can cause over-flowing stores and vitamin A toxicity.
Get it just right: The Real Thing Anti-X contains a safe and effective 65 international units (IU) of beta-carotene. It lends its nutritional and antioxidant ability to the astaxanthin effect.
3. VITAMIN E (AS D-ALPHA TOCOPHEROL)
What? This vitamin occurs naturally in eight different forms. One of these forms – alpha tocopherol – is found in vegetable oils, whole grains, fish and green leafy veg.
What else? It’s a well-established natural antioxidant that fights the good fight against free radicals. Its levels also swell significantly during pregnancy.
How does it help?
Too little alpha tocopherol can increase the risk of neurological deficiencies. The right amount has strong antioxidant and neuroprotective effects.
E IS FOR EXTRA. Anti-X contains 10 IU of antioxidant vitamin E to add to astaxanthin's neuroprotective weight. That's a third of the recommended daily value (RDA). Nice.
4. LUTEIN
What? Another colourful pigment in the carotenoid family. In fact, its name means "yellow".
What else? It’s found in leafy vegetables and has notable antioxidant and anti-inflammatory talents.
How does it help?
It’s a defender. Lutein protects the body from oxidative stress and damage caused by high-energy light. It's not an eyesore. A 2007 study from the National Eye Institute in Maryland found that lutein and zeaxanthin can protect against blindness in people over the age of 65.
WHO NEEDS THE REAL THING ANTI-X?
ATHLETES. Get extra energy and endurance – the kind you need to swim upstream for days, like an astanxanthin-rich salmon. Get reduced recovery time after exercise, and less risk of injury.
THE ELDERLY. Help treat the pain and inflammation that come with age-related aches, pains and arthritis.
THE INJURED. Reduce inflammation and promote healing in acute and chronic injuries like carpal tunnel syndrome, strains, sprains and back problems.
EVERYONE ELSE. Get the world’s strongest antioxidant on your side. An ally in the fight against oxidative attack, inflammation and the ageing process itself.
WHAT MAKES ANTI-X THE REAL THING?
All-natural ingredients.
Certified quality. It's produced according to strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) conditions and complies with ISO 9001:2000 quality standards.
No additives. Guaranteed free of herbicides, pesticides, colourants, flavourants and preservatives.

Good and green. All processing is environmentally friendly. Guaranteed non-irradiated and free of GMOs.
Checked and balanced. All our algae is fully analysed for purity and quality. The astaxanthin-measuring method used is regarded in Japan, the US and Canada as the only accurate assessment of concentration claims on labels.
HOW DO YOU TAKE IT?
Take 1 capsule of Anti-X daily, either with a meal or one hour before exercise. This can be increased to up to 4 capsules a day (2 in the morning, 2 at night) or consult your health care practitioner.
STICK WITH IT. It can take time for Anti-X to accumulate in your body. So it may be two to four weeks before you notice the supplement having an effect. Similarly, the benefits may hang around for while if you stop taking it. But consistency is key.
