Organic Coconut Oil is cold-pressed from the white flesh of the coconut. It is one of the most versatile and healthy oils available and consists almost entirely of healthy medium-chain saturated fatty acids. Coconut Oil does not negatively affect blood cholesterol. The medium-chain saturated fat in coconut oil is used primarily as a source of energy which helps to increase metabolism. Coconut Oil consists of roughly 50% lauric acid which has documented anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and anti-prozotoal properties.
