Description
“Iinyosi” is a Ndebele homograph for both bees and the honey they produce. “That’iinyosi usele” is a proverb that children from far and wide throughout KwaNdebele, heard in their childhood. It was a proverb uttered by an elder, to give a warm instruction to a child who was showing symptoms of a flu, cold, fever and nasal allergies. Most times, as a child, you were mostly excited by the idea of consuming the sweetness of the honey, more than the benefits of it.
