Parmesan, Corn & Spelt Bread Recipe

Ingredients

Dry ingredients

1 Cup White flour
1 Cup Corn meal
1 tbsp Baking powder
2 tbsp Grated Parmesan
1 tsp Garlic granules
½ tsp Sea salt

Wet Ingredients

2 tbsp Olive oil
½ Chopped onion (fine)
1 Egg
1 cup Milk
2 tbsp Honey

Method

• Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
• Mix all the dry ingredients together and put aside.
• In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil and sauté the onion until transparent and tender.
• In a separate bowl, mix the egg, milk, honey and sautéed onions making sure all the oil is removed from the pan.
• Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until blended.
• Grease the bread tin and pour in the mixture.
• Sprinkle extra Parmesan on top and bake for 25-30 minutes.
