Garlic Pesto

Garlic Pesto recipe

In a blender, blitz a 1/2 garlic clove, 250g fresh basil, zest of 1 lemon, 100g toasted walnut pieces and 50g grated parmesan cheese.
Replace Parmesan with vegan parmesan or added nutritional yeast to make it vegan friendly.

Squeeze in lemon juice and pulse to a lovely paste.

Add a splash of olive oil, stir and season.
