Black Lemonade

Black Lemonade

This drink can be taken first thing in the morning or at the end of evening as part of a detox programme.

Ingredients:

Juice from 2 Lemons
1Litre of Fresh Filtered Water
2 drops of Lemon Therapeutic Essential Oil
a Pinch of Himalayan Sea Salt (Fine)
1 Tablespoon of Organic Pure Maple Syrup
1 Teaspoon of Activated Charcoal
25g of Fresh Ginger, sliced

Method:

Warm up the water on the stove and squeeze in the juice from the lemons.
Throw the lemons and the sliced ginger into a mason jar.
Then pour the warm water over the lemons and sliced ginger and let it steep for about 20 minutes.
Remove the lemons and ginger and discard.
Add 2 drops of lemon oil in the maple syrup and add to the water mix.
Then add the teaspoon of activated charcoal and mix.

Make sure to take this drink on an empty stomach with no food 2 hours before or after the drink. Reason being that the activated charcoal cannot differentiate between nutrients and toxins and will remove everything from your system. Drink plenty of clean water throughout the day as the charcoal can cause some dehydration that could lead to constipation.
